<div>1. DISCUSSION AND FORECAST FOR SOUTH CENTRAL OREGON ZONES 624 AND 625</div>

<div style="padding-left: 36pt; ">An upper level low pressure area will be over southeast Oregon and move southeasterly out of the state during the day. Expect some precipitation from this system but the cool air aloft near the low should provide high mixing
heights and good smoke dispersal conditions. </div>

<div> OUTLOOK (WEDNESDAY-FRIDAY)</div>
<div> </div>
<div style="padding-left: 36pt; ">On Wednesday a strong upper ridge with its axis about 300 miles west of the coastline will settle in. This will give a cool north to north-northwest upper flow pattern to the region. Subsidence with the ridge will lower mixing
heights and smoke dispersal conditions will become poor to unfavorable. The ridge slowly moves east Thursday and Friday but remains to the west of the state. This will keep conditions dry and stable through at least Christmas. </div>

<div>Mixing height 3200 - 4200 ft during the morning. Mixing height rises to above 5000 ft during the afternoon then lowers to 1500 - 2500 ft during the evening.</div>

<div> </div>
<div>Surface wind WNW to NNW at 8 - 14 mph during the morning and afternoon. Surface wind decreases to NNW to NNE at 5 - 9 mph during the evening.</div>

<div>Mixing height below 1000 ft during the morning rising to 1000 - 1700 ft during the afternoon. Transport wind NNW to NE at 6 - 10 mph during the morning becoming light and variable during the afternoon.</div>
