In the meantime an upper level low off the west coast of North America becomes the major factor in Pacific Northwest Weather. A Pacific cold front will move into western Oregon, but the only effect will for south central Oregon during the day will be increasing clouds. There should be some areas of light rain with the remains of the front. Temperatures will be about four to eight degrees cooler than on Wednesday. With cool air aloft mixing heights should be quite high and transport winds will be brisk southerly or southwesterly most areas for good smoke dispersal conditions.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoPlainText style='margin-left:.5in'><span style='font-family:"Courier New"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoPlainText style='margin-left:.5in'><span style='font-family:"Courier New"'>The upper low moves to about 500 miles west of the mouth of the Columbia River by Friday.
