Congratulations to the state of Oregon for being recognized as a leader in data equity! Very sincerely, and honestly, none of the work within our data strategy would be carried forward without all of the dedication, engagement, and support of our state agencies, and community partners, who show up to help shape this work.

As an incoming CDO, I was very lucky, and am grateful, at the number of organizations who have been leading from a data equity and data justice forward approach. I hope that folks can all share in the sense of pride and accomplishment, as this is really your work that is being recognized, even if sometimes it seems like it's only those with "C" in front of their name that get the credit.
