The Oregon Employment Department's nationally recognized Workforce and Economic Research team has three openings for Workforce Analyst (Economist 1) positions, with the potential for a hybrid/remote work location. Successful candidates will have to live in the assigned coverage area within three months of starting their new position.
The coverage areas are:

  *   The Northwest Oregon area which includes Benton, Clatsop, Columbia, Lincoln, and Tillamook counties<https://www.qualityinfo.org/northwest-oregon>. The central workplace has not yet been determined but will be within one of those counties.
  *   The Mid-Valley Oregon area which includes Linn, Marion, Polk and Yamhill counties<https://www.qualityinfo.org/mid-valley>. The central workplace will be in Salem, Oregon.
  *   The Central Oregon area (also called "East Cascades") which includes Crook, Deschutes, Gilliam, Hood River, Jefferson, Sherman, Wasco, and Wheeler counties<https://www.qualityinfo.org/east-cascades>. The central workplace will be in Bend, Oregon.
We're looking for people with an Economics or related degree, with exceptional customer service and communication skills to join our stellar Regional Analysis team.
