database vendors develop (modified) SQL for their particular products. If you use Oracle Database or SQL Server Database your SQL will be variants. There is a generic SQL, but you most likely will benefit by asking your in-house DBA team what your primary
databases are, and focus on them. For example, at ODOT we generally use Microsoft SQL Server, though we have a few Oracle databases as well. We have 1 DBA with years of Oracle expertise, the rest of the DBA/DA team focus primarily on SQL Server. At ODOT the
staff should focus on Microsoft SQL Server based SQL. Your organization probably uses a primary Database Product, like (Microsoft) SQL Server as well.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
