maps and dashboards automatically refresh to be “up-to-date” with all data layers that they are built upon. This is why (by default) you will see text such as “Last Updated: a minute ago” often appearing in such interactive visualizations (technically true).
Though, what this means is that a map is only as up-to-date as the data layers it is built upon. So it is important to always check data layer source information and details. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D">The dashboard shared in the email below is dependent on the
<a href="https://geo.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=dd2bee51e3004dc4b1004df34fbd9e29">
Fire Evacuation Areas Public</a> data layer, which shows all wildfire evacuations across Oregon as collected and updated by OEM. So the dashboard map will always be as updated as that data layer.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt"><b><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D">About most recent wildfire data</span></b><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D">: OEM
also maintains a <a href="https://geo.maps.arcgis.com/apps/PublicInformation/index.html?appid=f8a0d8814a67445a9e6bf3485f4fd24f">
real-time assessment and planning tool</a> that may be of interest to know about if you are working with maps/GIS data. In particular, this tool depends on the
<a href="https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=d957997ccee7408287a963600a77f61f">
USA Current Wildfires</a> data layer which includes the most recent (daily) point and perimeter locations of wildfires reported in the US. Any persons or teams looking to visualize and understand the most recent information relating to wildfires in Oregon would
benefit from knowing about the USA Current Wildfires data layer. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D">Learning about and working with the Current Wildfires layer inspired me to create an updated version of the
<a href="https://geo.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/4929ba5f37fa45fe8711efb77f8df9cf">
ODE Recent Wildfires Dashboard</a>. This dashboard provides counts and a list of the most recent Oregon wildfires, along with the original indicators and features provided by the dashboard I originally linked below. Check it out and read more about the
