April 14th Speaker
The Oregon Community Solar Program<https://www.oregoncsp.org/> was established by the Oregon Legislature in 2016 to expand the state’s renewable energy portfolio and make solar energy available to customers across the state who previously did not have access. Join us and learn from Joe Abraham<https://www.linkedin.com/in/jabraham74/>, Utility Analyst with the Oregon Public Utility Commission<https://www.oregon.gov/puc/pages/default.aspx>, about how the relatively new Program can help residents, businesses and organizations cost-effectively switch to solar energy.
And thank you again to our March speaker Tom Kissinger, Marion County Parks Program Supervisor, who shared the County's efforts to rebuild more climate resilient County parks in the Santiam Canyon east of Salem after the devastating wildfires there in September 2020.
We host monthly networking lunches to build and reinforce community and partnerships among regional businesses, government agencies, non-profits, higher education, and community groups advancing solutions to environmental, social justice, and allied issues.
We hope to see you soon! - Joe Abraham<https://www.linkedin.com/in/jabraham74/>, Elin Shepard<https://www.linkedin.com/in/elin-shepard-12657733/>, Dave Wortman<https://www.linkedin.com/in/dave-wortman/>, Rachel VanWoert<https://www.linkedin.com/in/rachel-vanwoert-059aa119/>, Dakota Tangredi<https://www.linkedin.com/in/dakota-tangredi-32700097/>, and Laura Tesler.
