Horizon Air is discontinuing service to Pendleton Oregon effective
December 1, 2008. The City Pair between Pendleton and Portland is
being dropped from the contract. A new airline, SeaPort Air will begin
flying from Portland to Pendleton December 2, 2008 using 9 seat
aircraft. This airline is not under contract with the State. There
are no restrictions for agencies to use this airline; however, agencies
should do a cost analysis to determine which method of transportation,
flying or driving, is more beneficial to the agency.

If anyone has any questions regarding these changes, feel free to
contact me at your convenience.

Best regards,
