[Travel-Link] New hotel booking tool

I need to clarify my earlier email.  This booking tool does not replace Azumano or ResX.   You are still required to book airfare with Azumano.  In conjunction with you air transactions, please use Azumano and ResX for hotel reservations.

This tool is designed for hotel only booking transactions.   If you or your travelers are needing lodging that doesn't require air travel, you are encouraged to use this tool.

Hello State Travel Planners.

There are some changes coming to the WSCA Lodging Searchable Database.    In a couple of weeks, the current database will be replaced by the new online booking tool at www.wscatravel.com<http://www.wscatravel.com>   The new tool will provide real time searching, availability and pricing information.      Everyone who uses the tool will need to create an account.   The account is free.     To create an account, log on to www.wscatravel.com<http://www.wscatravel.com>  and request a log in. You will need to send an email from your work account to verify that you are a government employee before the account is created.    Once you are confirmed, log in information will be sent to you so you can log in and search and book for rooms.   The reason for the account and email verification is to ensure the  general public is not accessing the discounted rates.

Hotel bookings will be free on the new site.

Please take a moment now to become familiar with the new tool.  I will send out an email when the existing searchable database is removed.   I will also have the wscalodging.org web address be redirected to the new tool at that time.
