RE:         Travel Program and Price Agreement Update



A. 2013 ANNUAL TRAVEL FORUM
The annual travel forum is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on September 24, 2013 in Salem.  Registration information will be sent out soon.
If you have any suggestions for forum presentations or hot topics to discuss send a separate email to me at gail.l.carter at state.or.us<mailto:gail.l.carter at state.or.us> by Wednesday, August 7.

B. WORKGROUP VOLUNTEERS
I am putting together a Travel Coordinator Workgroup (12 volunteers) to meet with me and Stephen Matusik, Azumano Travel on September 18 from 1:30 - 3:30 in Salem.
The objective of the Workgroup is to provide recommendations on the content and layout of the Azumano "State of Oregon Travel Center" page http://www.azumano.com/clients/?client_id=oregon and use of ResX  https://www.resx.com/login/oregon/default.htm  This will be a hands on session using computers to view, access and query the travel center and ResX.  New and seasoned ResX users are encouraged to participate.
If you are interested in participating let me know by Friday, August 16.  The first 12 who reply will be signed up and get a copy of the Agenda as it is developed.

C. PRICE AGREEMENTS
City Pair Fares ~ the statewide price agreements #1457 Alaska Air and #1458 JetBlue have been renewed and extended for another year.  The 2013-2014 City Pair Air Fares are on the web at http://www.oregon.gov/DAS/EGS/ps/Pages/travel-menu.aspx
