<DIV>Travel Coordinators, <BR><BR>This is a reminder that April 1 is the
deadline for submitting your<BR>agency's report on Travel Awards for calendar
year 2009. This report<BR>should include a detailed list of the specific
travel awards earned<BR>during the year and the specific travel awards used
during the year.<BR>The report should also have the approximate dollar value of
those travel<BR>awards that were used or redeemed. The dollar value of the
travel awards<BR>used or redeemed during the year are considered the total cost
savings<BR>to the agency. A reminder also that, unless specifically
exempted<BR>otherwise by statute, the awards reporting applies to agencies of
the<BR>state as defined in ORS 291.002.<BR><BR>The report may be in a letter
format and must be signed by the Agency<BR>Head or designee. A report is
required to be submitted whether there were travel<BR>awards earned/used or not.
<BR><BR>Oregon Accounting Manual Policy 40.10.00.PO "Statewide Travel
Policy"<BR>paragraph .136 describes this reporting which is required by
ORS<BR>292.230. <BR><BR>Thank you to the agencies that plan to submit their
