[Utilities_fit] Utilities FIT Meeting

Good afternoon, Utilities team!

I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful day.

First, a little update... I have had a job change! I no longer work for Clatskanie PUD. Instead, I'm finishing up my second week with Portland General Electric. I'm really excited to be involved in all the innovation that PGE brings to the utilities sphere. So please note my new email address and contact info.

Second, we have been asked to create the charter document for the Utilities FIT. The good news is there is a template to get us started. That template is attached, along with existing charters for some of the other framework themes. The Hydrography charter is the most recent/complete, and the one that most closely resembles the template.

To this end, I would like to meet and discuss the charter elements.

Some of the questions I would like people to start contemplating are:
-What would be realistic goals and objectives? My ideas are 1. Provide insight and subject matter expertise on user needs and feasibility of Utilities Framework Data Elements, 2. Develop standards for data elements, and 3. Develop stewardship agreements for data elements.
-Are there other framework themes we should be coordinating with? My first thought is emergency preparedness (PREP-FIT).
-Are there other organizations we should be coordinating with? For example, OJUA, state agencies such as OPUC, utility organizations?
