<p class="MsoNormal">I have two questions for you regarding the Free Summer Lunch Program, summer reading, and public library statistics.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">If a library offers the free summer lunch program, then should that in and of itself be counted as a library program for the public library statistics?<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">If a library offers the free summer lunch program and passive programming such as playing an audio book or making word searches available to kids while they eat, then should it be counted as a library program for the public library statistics?<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We have several libraries offering the free summer lunch program 5 days a week and doing a storytime and/or summer reading activity in conjunction with lunch once or twice a week. Obviously, those are programs to be tracked for public libraries
statistics. However, they are wondering if they should count the other 3 or 4 lunches per week as a program or not. Does that make sense?
