Our Clinton-Macomb County Public Library system is a great example of a school partnership where they have 1 card for School & public libraries (their student ID). My State Library is under the Michigan Department of Education and I have asked them to consider
opening this idea up across the state. However, the biggest issue is the MDE doesn’t really have control over the districts, nor we over the libraries. So it is turning out to be more of a community by community issue ...<br>
