<a href="https://thedoddcenter.uconn.edu/k-12-education/human-rights-education-resources/">
Thomas J. Dodd Center at the University of Connecticut</a> on a very cool project. One of their focuses (foci?) is Human Rights. The other is that they have a large
<a href="http://archives.lib.uconn.edu/nclc">Children’s Literature Collection</a>.

<a href="http://www.youthforhumanrights.org/what-are-human-rights/universal-declaration-of-human-rights/articles-1-15.html">

 and if you scroll to the bottom, there are 6 catetogories for which they have chosen books and created posters.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D">What I have learned is that many other countries (specifically Britain and Scotland, at least) have Human Rights Education in their curricula – and in the United
 States, we have no requirement for this. There are two doctoral students studying what is being done in the US, and developing professional development for teachers and media specialists around teaching human rights education with children’s books. They have
 sent out a nationwide survey, but have questioned how far their reach has gone. In order to help them, I agreed to send out their survey to you all in hopes that you will pass it along to teachers and media specialists if you have a way to do so.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
