[Answerland] Chat reminder: drop chat shifts during holidays and vacations

Hello Answerlanders,

This is a reminder to those of you who staff chat: You are not required to staff chat on state holidays. If you have a chat shift during a holiday, or if you are taking vacation this fall, please drop your shift(s).

Some of you may be using LibStaffer, while others may still be using Humanity. (Springshare has notified me that the transition from Humanity to LibStaffer will not be completed until after the new year.)

To drop your shift in LibStaffer: Click the Drop button associated with your shift day/time.

To drop your shift in Humanity:

  1.  In the Upcoming Shifts box on the Dashboard, click Details next to the shift you cannot work
  2.  Click Can't work and then click Release Shift
  3.  Enter a Reason for request ("can't work" is fine) and click Continue
  4.  Click Select All Available and click Continue
