Outreach Coordinator
The outreach coordinator will be responsible for managing Upstream
Public Health’s community engagement and mobilization efforts.

Policy Coordinator – Food and School Health
The Food Policy Coordinator will have multiple responsibilities
coordinating various aspects of three policy issues: 1) decreasing
access and consumption of soda; 2) Farm to School; and 3) Coordinated
School Health. These issue areas are at various stages and have
different levels of coordination needs. The Coordinator will value
advancing innovative, collaborative, and community-based policies to
improve the public’s health. The Coordinator will work closely with
our contract lobbyist, media firm, and coalitions on moving the issues
forward and assist in the successful passage of the policies. This
Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of coalition building
and facilitation for at least one of the campaigns. The ideal
candidate will have excellent communication and organizing skills,
along with expertise in food policy or related policy experience. This
is a full time position based in Portland, OR. The Coordinator will
report to the Co-Director.
