[kids-lib] Oregon Battle of the Books Selected for 2013 Walt Morey Award

I am so pleased to announce that Oregon Battle of the Books has been awarded the Walt Morey Young Readers Literary Legacy award! This award is "presented to a person or organization in recognition of significant contributions that have enriched Oregon's young readers."

So many thank you's are in order to all of the volunteers that put OBOB together every year--we wouldn't be getting this award if it weren't for you showing up and helping us all take care of business. And, thanks to the kids for sharing their time with us every year...we'd have no battle if we had no warriors (knights, book soldiers?)--aw, you know what I mean.

Please think about joining us in congratulating OBOB during the Oregon Book Awards on April 8 in Portland!
