NEED HELP WITH EASY READERS?

Easy Reader books can be confusing. How can you tell if a reader is for:

  *   A child just starting to read;
  *   Someone whose reading level is at the beginning of second grade;
  *   A reader who is somewhere in between?

At the next First Tuesdays on December 3, Youth Services librarians, Gwendolyn Hayley and Mary Ellen Braks, from Spokane County Library in Washington State, will guide you through the confusing world of easy readers in Easy Readers Aren't so Easy.

Designed as a continuing education opportunity for staff , this free web presentation, which will take place on December 3, 2013, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. PST, lets attendees share their skills and successes and learn about new topics. Sessions are recorded so that others may listen at their own convenience.
