[kids-lib] Fighter Pilot Books

I have a patron who is looking for any type of fiction pilot books for her child, preferably fighter pilots (for example, Ace fighter pilots).  He does not care for just aviation stories, but stories about WWII pilots and such.  Other than The Biggles, I am unable to find any series that fits this description for an 8-11 year old range.

Any ideas?  Even standalone titles would be welcome!
