Hello Oregon friends,

We are excited to share with you the 20th anniversary of Multnomah County
Library's School Corps <https://multcolib.org/educators/school-corps>
program. 20 years, 3 librarians, 4000 book collections created, 83,000
students reached with 131,000 books, 8700 hours of educator time saved.

These are just some of the impressive numbers that reflect 20 years of
MCL’s School Corps service. For two decades School Corps has expanded and
evolved in support of schools’ literacy goals by delivering books and
promoting MCL resources in classrooms and at after school programs.

Teachers know that School Corps is a program to celebrate! Educator Robin
Mauldin says, “This is one of the best things Mult Co. Library does to
support teachers. I am so happy to get the book buckets. It really helps
students get more, more and more books into their lives!”

Where you will find School Corps twenty years from now remains to be seen,
but no matter what shape the program takes, it will be anchored in the
magic of talented librarians compiling and vetting excellent resources and
inspiring children to find the books they need and love.
