Hi,

If you subscribe to some Gale databases on your own - Literature Resource Center or Opposing Viewpoints, for example - you can have your databases display in the menu of choices that appears when you use PowerSearch or when you click on Change Databases at the top of most Gale interfaces. That way, your patrons can search all Gale products - those you pay for and those provided by the state - all at the same time.

To get the ball rolling, go to Gale's support site for Oregon, http://galesupport.com/oregon/, scroll to the very bottom of the page, and fill out the tech support form. In the comment section, include this information:
You want the Gale databases to which your library already subscribes to display in the menu of databases offered through the statewide contract in Oregon.
Your Gale location ID (if known)
Perhaps include a list of the databases that your library subscribes to, although Gale should have that information.

If Gale tech support doesn't implement your request within a reasonable amount of time, please let me know.

Thanks,
Jen
