WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Library Association (ALA) Washington Office
has released the association’s 2009 Legislative Scorecards for the U.S.
Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives.

The Legislative Scorecards outline votes and support of legislation that is
important to and has an impact on the library community.

The ALA provides the scorecard as a tool to ALA members for gauging their
elected official’s support of library related legislation.
