[Libs-Or] Securing headphones to adult computers

Perhaps a benefit of a more rural area but in Baker, headphones are standard
at all workstations.

When first deployed, we used zip ties to secure them but that caused more
inconvenience to patron use than it was worth in theft. Theft is now rare;
most loss is due to breakage from regular wear on the wiring. We plug the
headphones in at the front of the PC towers & often find them unplugged I
expect from patrons using their own.

We do have jack splitters at our AWE kids stations and have yet to lose one,
much to my surprise.

We have had them. But after all the broken and stolen ones, we gave up.

Personally I would never put on public headphones. We used to wipe them
down with alcohol, but still..

For those of you that have headphones attached to each of your adult
computers, how do you secure them?

We have been handing out headphones informally for two years, however we are
now considering purchasing a pair for each of our adult computers. We are
looking for a good solution to "tether" or otherwise secure the headphones
to the computers. Ideally, we'd like to have an audio jack splitter with
our headphones secured into one side and an opening on the other side so
users can insert their own headphones as desired.
