ASSISTANT LIBRARY DIRECTOR/OPERATIONS MANAGER

Toledo Public Library, Toledo, OR, is looking for an assistant library
director. This position is full time with some weekend hours. This position
is responsible for assisting the library director in the management of the
library operational/technical functions. S/he directs the library
operations in the director’s absence. S/he should also expect to perform
front desk duties and general library services such as re-shelving books,
assisting patrons of all ages, instructing in the use of the on-line
catalogue and electronic reference tools as this is a small library where
everyone shares responsibilities. A positive and upbeat approach to
customer service and enthusiasm for library work are key characteristics.
