Waldport Public Library, Waldport Oregon: Help wanted

LIBRARY DIRECTOR

This small coastal town seeks a new director for its busy, service-oriented
public library. Applicants should demonstrate good communication skills and
have experience in supervising staff, and preparing budgets. The library
has 3.5 FTE staff. The Library provides services to its City residents and,
through a contract with Lincoln County Library District (LCLD), extends
those services to residents of that district. Additionally, this library is
a member of the Chinook Library Network to share collections and to
contract an automated library system, Koha.

Applicant should have a four year degree and two to five years professional
library experience, or any satisfactory combination of experience and
training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform
the required duties. MLS or equivalent is desired. This position is
approximately 32 hours/ week. Starting salary is $ 3,164/month. Benefits
include health benefit allowance and Public Employees Retirement System.
