The Influence of the Constitution on Political Conversation

This workshop will encourage a broader perspective on the creation of the
Constitution and puncture some myths - to help you evaluate current
political events more thoughtfully. The creation of the Constitution is
discussed with an emphasis on the compromises that were required to form the
country. Participants are also encouraged to look at aspects of our
government that might be changed to enlarge the democratic process. A great
20-minute video will be shown.

Mon. June 20, Northwest Library, 2300 NW Thurman St., 6:00-7:45

Weds, June 29, Midland Library, 805 SE 122nd Ave. 6:30- 7:45

These workshops are non-partisan.
