¡Hola!
Thank you Elizabeth for sending out the list of recommende publishers for
FIL.
I had the opportunity to attend CILELIJ <http://www.cilelij.com/> / FILIJ
<http://filij.cultura.gob.mx/> last week in Mexico City where I met many
professionals working in libraries and promoting literature for children
and young adults.
I learned about incredible efforts and creative projects supporting
literacy and reading for pleasure in various communities of Latin America.
I will share my experience in a report next month but I wanted to recommend
the following titles, including a couple of new releases, for purchase at
FIL.
- Wonderful board book series by Colombian author Claudia Rueda helps
develop children's imagination. Great for storytime and crafts about
geometric shapes.
¿De dónde salió esa cosa amarilla?
