Good morning!

Would your library like to participate in improving the health of the nation?
According to a recent article in Health Affairs<https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/27834243>, public libraries are seen as having a pivotal role in population health primarily because they have such a unique role where they serve people from a vast range of demographics.

It is precisely because of this community outreach that we are encouraging libraries to become a partner in the All of Us Research Program<https://www.nih.gov/research-training/allofus-research-program>, part of the Precision Medicine Initiative that was announce two years ago. The All of Us Research Program is an effort to gather data from 1 million or more people living in the United States to improve health. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has announced a funding opportunity for community partners. This includes national and regional organizations, as well as local community groups to support activities to promote enrollment and retention in the All of Us Research Program across diverse communities. Public libraries as well as health/medical libraries would be a natural partner for this program.

Please consider applying.
Deadline to apply is March 24. Learn more about this opportunity at https://nnlm.gov/pnr/dragonfly/2017/02/06/all-of-us-research-program-announces-funding-opportunity-for-community-partners/

Please note a scheduled informational webinar is offered on February 10, 9:00 - 10:00am PT. Register<http://palladianpartners.cvent.com/events/all-of-us-research-program-engagement-partners-funding-opportunity-webinar/event-summary-90bf6f869f1a43d39b17aca8da061e7d.aspx>
