FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Oregon State Library Board will meet at the State Library, 250 Winter St. NE, Salem, OR on February 23 & 24, 2017. This meeting was initially scheduled for January 19 & 20, but was cancelled due to weather. Aletha Bonebrake of Baker City will chair the meeting.

On February 23rd, the board will review the current strategic plan and update it for 2017-2019. On February 24th, the board will hold its regular meeting which will include the post-transaction review of the agency head financial transactions. An open forum is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. on February 24th. Anyone may address the board on any topic at the open forum.

Sign language interpretation will be provided for the public if requested prior to 48 hours before the meeting; notice prior to 72 hours before the meeting is preferred.  Handouts of meeting materials may also be requested in alternate formats prior to 72 hours before the meeting. Requests may be made to Jessica Rondema at 503-378-5015.
