For the UW Husky alumni out there who may not be on the I-School’s email list… please note that the Incredible Mae Benne passed away recently at the age of 93. She was a great teacher and mentor, a lovely and kind lady. She helped generations of librarians understand and enjoy children’s literature and inspired many to service as YS librarians.
