The Mark O. Hatfield Library at Willamette University seeks a creative and
energetic individual for the position of Access Services and Assessment
Librarian.  This position is responsible for managing all areas of Access
Services, including circulation, course reserves, interlibrary loan, and
consortial borrowing and lending. Additionally, the librarian will
coordinate the implementation of a comprehensive and strategic assessment
program within the Mark O. Hatfield library.  The incumbent leads a team of
.75 FTE staff and approximately 30 student employees, and is responsible
for monitoring building use and security.  The individual in this position
is an active participant in Orbis Cascade Alliance, a consortium of 39
colleges and universities in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.


Willamette University is located in Salem, Oregon, across the street from
the State Capitol and in the middle of the beautiful Willamette Valley.
The Mark O. Hatfield Library supports the College of Liberal Arts and the
