Eugene Public Library is seeking enthusiastic emerging leaders to join us in an exciting era of growth and innovation. Our excellent funding empowers extraordinary services and provides the resources to launch bold initiatives for the future. Areas of development include website enrichment, enhanced access to digital and physical content, and expanded programming and services including maker spaces, a state-of-the-art media lab, a mobile technology and programming van, increased teen programs, early literacy initiatives, and more. Positions are open in Youth Services and Adult Services.

Adult Services
Areas of responsibility include management and delivery of the full range of adult services, including reference, readers' advisory, collection development, homebound, outreach, adaptive technology, digital literacy, expertise with current and developing technology, and public programming. Duties may include coordination and supervision of paraprofessional staff. Experience with Polaris and content management systems such as LibGuides are a plus. Strong communication skills and a devotion to public service are the core essentials in this exciting position with rich opportunities for enriching the present and crafting a vibrant future.

Youth Services
Teen Services: Seeking a dynamic, service-oriented librarian to lead teen services under the direction of the Youth Services Manager.
This position is responsible for selecting and maintaining the teen collections, developing innovative programs, managing the newly renovated teen space, and reaching new audiences through outreach. The person in this role is a leader within Youth Services and the Library. May provide direct or indirect supervision within Youth Services. Collaboration within the workgroup, Library, and City are essential. The successful candidate will be a creative forward thinker able to take ideas from concept to execution. Come join the fun!

Youth Services Maker/Tech: Seeking a service-oriented librarian with a focus on technology and Maker, who will act as a supervisor for paraprofessional staff under the direction of the Youth Services Manager. This position is a leader in Youth Services who focuses on bringing technological innovation and support to the workgroup and community. This position will be an active member of the Library's Maker Team which collaborates on managing the Maker Hub and Media Lab and develops Maker programs and outreach. May provide direct or indirect supervision within Youth Services. Collaboration within the workgroup, Library, and City are essential. The successful candidate will be a creative forward thinker able to take ideas from concept to execution.

Salary: $55,369.60 - $71,614.40 annually
