[Libs-Or] Care of old newspaper clippings

An elderly couple has a collection of many newspaper clippings from the 1980's about the Rajneesh & Antelope, they want them saved for the future.  Currently the articles are loose in file folders and envelopes.  I've offered to help them with this.  How can these articles be saved / preserved?  All ideas are welcome.
