[Libs-Or] Envisionware RFID label applicators

We had an applicator, but our people found that just keeping the disc in its container worked just fine.   The disc is above the edges and the center tab thingy holds them in place.  It’s really the same design as the applicators and eliminates one of the jobs.   We did most of ours in an assembly line with staff and volunteers.  Had one person remove the dvds/cds from the shelf (we set up a table in the area),  just opened the container and put on the tag and then moved it along to the next person to put it on the cart and take to the computer and write it, then another brought them back and shelved it.   It really worked pretty smoothly and we got a lot done.

We are moving forward with RFID.

One of the pieces of this puzzle is which applicator works best for affixing tattle-tags to CDs and DVDs?

Envisionware does not sell or provide this product because:

"we don’t sell the applicators because they are everywhere and not special.  I see you have a Staples near you.  They charge $17.79 for the same Avery CD/DVD applicator that you see for $9.71 in the Amazon pic below….and….it has PRIME Shipping!!!!!

So, these are the things you need to apply the RFID tags on the discs, so buy some of them wherever you deem best."


The Avery, Merx, and Zhigao applicators all give me pause due to the one star Amazon reviews.


Could we get a recommendation for an exact product and model number for successful tattle-tag application?
