This conference really is for everyone, whether or not you are a Koha
library. People from all over the world will be attending and talking
about open source products and ideas related to libraries. Part of this
great deal is that the conference registration is free. You just pay for
your hotel room and food.

One added highlight, Stephanie Chase from Hillsboro is going to be giving
the Keynote!

The conference is being held at the Smith Memorial Student Union and hotel
rooms are available at the University Place Hotel, Portland State
University.

The KohaCon International Conference is on September 10th through 12th,
followed by a Cultural Day on September 13th and Hackfest on the 14th
through 16th.

Registration is now open at http://kohacon2018.bywatersolutions.com.
Proposals for the conference are encouraged. Just go to
http://kohacon2018.bywatersolutions.com/proposals.html and submit a
proposal.

I attended the Kohacon held in Reno a few years ago and it was interesting
and fun, even though I had a sprained ankle. I think many of you will
really enjoy this conference.
