Hi Sami,
The City of Gresham has been using such an app – they call it “My Gresham” – for a few years now:

I don’t live or work there, but learned about it when Gresham’s Mayor Shane Bemis presented at the OLA Conference in 2015. At the time, they had just launched the app -- so, 4 years later, apparently it’s successful!

Newberg is just working on setting one up called  SeeClickFix by Cartegraph.   It’s being led by Public Works for those potholes, but it will be for the whole city, including the library.   We’re just setting it up, so I don’t know how it really works.     https://seeclickfix.com/

Good morning -
The idea of having an app for our citizens to communicate with the city has come up.  For example "Here is a new pothole" or "this building was tagged last night" type things.  Nothing of any emergency or urgent matter but just an easy way to accept information and even better be able to push out information such as street closures.   Anyone's city's currently using such a thing?  Thanks
