The Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) has some webinars coming up that may be of interest to you this month. All are free.

Social and Environmental Determinants of Maternal Health Disparities and a Roadmap to Effective Solutions
This Emerging Trends webinar series presentation will describe historical and contemporary pathways by which features of the physical and social environments likely contribute to maternal health disparities. Potential interventions along with priorities for future research will also be described. (eligible for 1 Medical Library Association CE credit) This session will not be recorded.
Presenter: Dr. Chandra L. Jackson is an Earl Stadtman Investigator who leads the Social and Environmental Determinants of Health Equity Research group in the Epidemiology Branch of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences with a joint appointment in the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities.

Launching and Leading the Librarian Reserve Corps: Developing an agile librarian network in response to COVID-19
This is a webinar presentation on librarian visioning, leadership, management, and trial by fire. It provides a unique perspective on launching and leading an international network of librarian volunteers in a new role: emergency responders in the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants will learn about:

  *   the process of establishing an international network of volunteers from idea generation to implementation
  *   leadership successes
  *   "lessons" learned
Join the next PNR Rendezvous webinar to learn how Library Journal 2021 Librarians of the Year launched and lead an international network of librarian volunteers in a new role: emergency responders in the COVID-19 pandemic. Join NNLM All of Us, Wisconsin Health Literacy, and community subject experts to discover health literacy insights, best practices, videos and guides, designed for meaningful and effective engagement with diverse populations.
