Hello Folks,

Thank you, Michael Grutchfield, one of our two current co-chairs for 2025-2026, for the gracious invitation to volunteer for any of the elected positions in TSRT.  The new Chair, Co-chair (s) will start this Fall after the OLA Executive Committee meeting by attending the OLA Executive Committee meeting (in person or virtually) and then facilitating (in person, or virtually) our TSRT annual meeting in beautiful Newport, Oregon. Lillian and the staff there always set everything up so nicely for our Technical Services Round Table Steering Committee meeting in the Fall! (all are welcome) ❤

We also have several committees to choose to volunteer for, not elected positions, but check them out on the OLA TSRT “About” page<https://ola.memberclicks.net/tsrt-about#/>.

Please, everyone interested in Technical Services and ILS systems type library work, let your colleagues, friends and network members know about the opportunity.  You can even become an official member of the Technical Services Round Table as you are being elected 😉

This is to let you know that if you are interested in serving on the TSRT Board, now is your chance to throw your hat into the ring.

Technical Services Roundtable has three official Board positions:

Secretary                         (Damon Campbell will stay in this role)
Chair                                   (Currently Michael Grutchfield)
Co-Chair                           (Currently Ellie Avis)

If you are interested in serving, please reach out! If there are more than two candidates for a position, we will hold an election. Also, if you have not already joined, consider joining out steering committee e-list at Ola-tsrt-sc Info Page<https://omls.oregon.gov/mailman/listinfo/ola-tsrt-sc>. We usually cross-post the important stuff, but it may be useful for people who want to be more involved to see what is going on at the steering committee level.
