Very disturbing, indeed. While the recognition was for the organization, not the individual, I don’t expect any of us would have been comfortable with Brownstein accepting the award, had we known. I’m sorry I didn’t find out about allegations prior to nomination.

Yes. I certainly would have still wanted to honor the CBLDF because their work is impressive and essential, but this is disappointing.
