1.       Please join me in welcoming Jennifer Moreland, the new executive director with the Downtown Corvallis Association. Jennifer comes with a wealth of small business and nonprofit experience. She served on the DCA board for 8 years and was part of both the Design and Promotion Committees. Most recently she spearheaded a mural project in the downtown.



2.       Newest members on main street:

a.       Congratulations to Sierra Lauder (main street coordinator in Tillamook) and family on their newest addition - Baby Indigo was born seven weeks ago. Sierra said Indigo might make her main street debut in Albany!

b.      Welcome to the new addition to Luke Hegdal's family (main street executive director in Milton-Freewater) as well. They welcomed a new baby daughter, Halle, three weeks ago.


3.       Registration will close for the Main Street on the Move Bus Tour this Friday. We strongly encourage staff, board members and volunteers to join the tour - we guarantee you will walk away inspired with what towns on the stop are accomplishing! Below are the three options to us join us in October - the full Main Street on the Move bus tour; or the Day in Albany; or Excellence in Downtown Revitalization Awards Celebration.
