[OMS_MANAGERS] trick or treat main street

Hi All,

 

Each year on Halloween, our organization promotes though the schools Trick
or Treat Main Street. We capture about 2000 children with parents.

Most Main Street Vendors participate by giving out snacks or candy. Some may
do some low level marketing as well

Each year we are approached by outside organizations wanting to hand out
candy and or information.

 

If you do this type of event- do you have any policies on such outside
vendors??

Religious OK? (church youth groups)

Political (School district Bond levy)?

Must be child centric?

 

One concept we have kicked around is to create "sponsors" and include space
for a 10x10 tent- That being said, what's 2 hours of exposure worth.
