[Or-srp] Attention small libraries: No-cost summer reading performers

The Oregon College Savings Plan will sponsor one free summer reading performer for libraries with service areas less than 10,000 according to the most recent Public Library Statistics-the most recent statistics aren't online yet, but last years are available here<http://www.oregon.gov/osl/LD/Pages/statsploregon.aspx>. The goal of this program is to attract a lot of families to your library's summer reading program and to promote the summer reading sweepstakes<http://www.oregon.gov/osl/LD/Pages/youthsvcs/summerreading/sweepstakes.aspx>. It's also a good opportunity to ignite conversations about going to college and saving for college in your community.

In early March, Kathy Griffin will email the directors of eligible small libraries to let them know which performer will be in each region and provide the necessary contact information so you can book your free performer. Please note that Kathy's email is KGriffin at tiaa.org<mailto:KGriffin at tiaa.org> so you know it's legitimate-it has been known to get caught in spam filters/junk mail folders.
