Marine Board Seeks Public Comment on Proposed Rulemakings for Procedural Rules

                The Oregon State Marine Board will be holding a public hearing on proposed rulemaking.
The State Marine Board is accepting public comment on proposed changes to procedural rules. The agency is proposing to adopt and amend rules in Division 001 to clarify the public petition procedure and consolidate definitions, and to repeal Division 019. Procedures previously outlined in Division 019 will be amended and included, as necessary, within Division 001. A public hearing on the proposed changes to Division 001 and Division 019 will be held on Tuesday, January 7 at the State Marine Board Office, 435 Commercial St NE, Salem at 5:00 PM. Public testimony will be accepted.

Written comments will be accepted until the close of the hearings on Tuesday, January 7. Box 14145, Salem, OR 97309-5056. Comments via telephone will not be accepted.
