Teens' Top Ten Voting Opens Aug. 15th
The 2014 Teens' Top Ten nominees have been posted online since April. Beginning Aug. 15th and running through Teen Read Week(tm), teens all over the world are encouraged to go online and vote for their favorites at www.ala.org/yalsa/reads4teens<http://www.ala.org/yalsa/reads4teens>. Bookmark the page on your web site and join the discussion on Twitter with #ttt14.

Showcase Your Libraries!
Invite your members of Congress into your library to see first-hand all the great ways you create opportunities for teens to keep learning over the summer. You could also schedule a meeting with them at their local office. YALSA's Legislation Committee has created some great tips and resources to help libraries participate in "District Days," Aug. 2 - Sept. 7, including free downloadable press materials and a sample letter to your legislator. http://wikis.ala.org/yalsa/index.php/District_Days.
