Perry Memorial Library is seeking a Youth Services Librarian.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited institution and a minimum of one year of library experience required. Supervisory experience preferred.

DUTIES: The youth services librarian is responsible for the youth services department. Duties include planning and implementing programming for children and teens; collection development of children's, juvenile, and young adult materials (includes selection, budget, and collection maintenance); managing daily operations of the youth services department; supervising youth services staff; participating in library management and public services teams; providing reference and computer assistance to patrons. This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, some nights and weekends.
