Hello OYAN! ORCA (Oregon Reader's Choice Awards) is looking for your help!

The committee is looking for 4-5 more members to join us. If interested, you can fill out the application form here<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeyyq_PEDsMtyZEjMQhKXudjgx3rdfgWTHIfQSL_EfS-tnZvg/viewform?usp=sf_link>. All ORCA committee members read nominated books and meet virtually with their divisions to select titles for the coming year. We are looking for members to assist with: writing book summaries, create slideshows about nominees, design promotional materials, work on the ORCA website/social media, and reach out to local libraries/booksellers/community groups about ORCA.

If you would like to support ORCA but don't have the capacity to join the committee, please nominate books<https://forms.gle/b9RvhDbDsryKVTdu8> and share the nomination form<https://forms.gle/b9RvhDbDsryKVTdu8> far and wide! We encourage public and school librarians as well as kids and teens to submit books for consideration. All titles submitted must have a copyright of 2023 or 2024 and be published in the U.S. We also have a shortened URL: bit.ly/orca2026nom<http://bit.ly/orca2026nom> and a QR code to share or create displays with.
