Lunch: We will be ordering a sandwich buffet that we anticipate will be about $12.00 per person. Please bring payment with you, either cash or check made out to The Arbor Café. Please contact me if you DO NOT want lunch marykay.dahlgreen at state.or.us or 503 378-5012. 
 
Meeting Times: 10:30 am to 4:00 pm, speakers include Perry Stokes, Michael Gaston, Molly Raphael, Jim Scheppke, Caleb Tucker-Raymond.
 
Meet and Greet each other and the Library Development Team:
We will have coffee, tea, juice and muffins available from 9:30 until 10:30 in rooms 102 and 103. The Library Development Team will be available if you haven't met them before or if you just want to say hi. 
 
Lodging: This will be your responsibility. There are a variety of hotels in Salem, the one closest to the State Library is the Phoenix Grand Hotel (it is next to the convention center where OLA was held two years ago), on Market Street right off the freeway are several hotels including a Red Lion and a Phoenix Suites. There are a couple of motels on Hawthorne, off the freeway at exit 253, including a Best Western and a Holiday Inn Express. They are right next to Costco. 
 
OregonReads 2009 Book Pick-Up: If you haven't picked up your OregonReads 2009 books from the State Library this would be a great opportunity.  Please be sure to contact Joel Henderson (see previous e-mail from Katie Anderson for details) if you would like to pick up your books that day. 
 
Oops, I forgot to RSVP in October: Please let me know by November 12th if you will be attending and if you want lunch.
