[R2R-OR] Friday, November 8th Shoutout

Hello folks,

Today's shoutout goes to a few of our early literacy experts: Amanda at Newberg, Emily at North Plains, Holly at Tigard, Jessica at Salem, Jovanna at Hillsboro, Rachel at MCL, and Tiffany at Union. They all showed up this Wednesday afternoon to thoughtfully share how their libraries are engaging with families and building early literacy skills every day. Their thoughts are part of the community input going into the Department of Early Learning's 0-5 early literacy plan.

They all captured so beautifully how many of you are working every day to make sure our youngest learners have access to safe and welcoming places where they can play and learn together with their families. They represented all of you very well and I'm so thankful for the quality of input going into the big state plan!

Thanks for everything you are doing this week in whatever your role is. We truly appreciate it over here!
