Hi all,

There has been some good work done to evaluate the effects of differential privacy on certain statistics of interest. See the presentations (and Q&A sessions) at December's workshop organized by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine:

https://sites.nationalacademies.org/DBASSE/CNSTAT/DBASSE_196518

Is anyone looking at Oregon-specific changes in the data?

Antonio

All,

For those of you who utilize Census data, I wanted to be sure you were aware of the Census' new differential privacy methodology. Census has released 2010 data product<https://www.census.gov/programs-surveys/decennial-census/2020-census/planning-management/2020-census-data-products/2010-demonstration-data-products.html>s with the 2020 differential privacy rules applied, so folks can assess what this means for data coming out of the 2020 census.
